Precisely, that's when Washington realized he was not Britney Spears. *Christophe Studer (piano, rhodes & B3), Marc O. Jeanrenaud (drums) and Washington had played a show that was quite unusual. Half of it was synchronized with videos, which was still rare at that time (though it may be hard to believe today). It had been filmed and recorded over two nights. The problem was, selling a DVD of the result was as commercially viable as trying to release a book entitled "101 Delicious Tofu Recipes by Washington", and he was the first to know it. So if it could not be sold, what was the next thing to do ? Hell, give it for free, that's what ! Thus was launched the Washington Theater. Upon redesigning this site, the WT was initially to be wiped off. But give a look at Christophe Studer playing "Good Night Irene" and maybe you'll agree it was worth keeping it.
